From Soldier to Craftsman: Building My Woodworking Website and Telling My Story

Today marks a milestone in my journey. I’ve officially launched my woodworking website. It’s more than just a digital space; it’s a reflection of where I’ve been and where I’m going.

Two years ago, I retired from the Army and left Fort Hood, Texas. I relocated to North Dallas to be closer to family and start a new chapter in life. In the middle of that transition, I found peace and purpose in something simple, wood.

I turned my two-car garage into a woodshop. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion. I spent hours researching, testing, and collecting the right tools not just for the sake of having them, but to create something meaningful. I am not looking for the most expensive gear, but for the perfect set of tools that felt right in my hands, tools that allow me to shape raw material into something that could bring joy to someone else.

Every project I make will have a story. Every piece I will build will carry a bit of the journey I’ve walked from soldier to craftsman. This website is where I’ll share that story, one project at a time.

Thanks for joining me on this new road.
